  1. I decided to invest in good colouring pencils this week so I can get started whatever the quality of paper in my colouring books. I'll be finding time for that this winter and hopefully it will be good therapy on stressed days! I just bought a second Game of Thrones colouring book which might motivate me!

  2. Awesome haul! I've had the urge to colour the entire week! I love The Magical Jungle one you coloured! Which are in your opinion the best pencils to colour with?

    1. I like them all...But my favorites are prismacolored pencils and Fabercastell Polychromos-but they are pricey...Wanting a whole set of the Polychromos for Christmas...they are so vibrant. For Watercolor ones, I suggest Derwent Inktense or any watercolor brand. Just learned if I want to set the watercolor pencils, I have to use water...
Gel Pens are great if You Want a Lot of color, Staedler Fineliners if you get a really detailed one...So everybody is different. Haven't used Caran D'Carache or Holbein Colored Pencils, but they are out of my price range and with Holbein, you can't buy them Open Stock

    2. Oh, thanks! I do own some Derwent Inktense pencils and I really like them! Thinking about getting some prismacolors when I can afford them :) gel pens sound like fun as well! Thanks again for your advice!

  14. Oh man, I bought so many colouring books when they first came out, but sadly I haven't felt the inclination to colour much after the first 2, because it takes so long. I love your artwork though Grace! Lovely post!
