Stacking The Shelves, Bought, Borrowed and Bagged, I'm in a Reading Slump,

Stacking The Shelves is a meme hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews and Bought, Borrowed and Bagged is hosted by Braine over at Talk Supe Blog.

Note: I've been in a bit of a slump. I'm currently reading Gemina, and I'm only on page 550, because I've been working and now my mother is making me do more stuff around the house. Also been having some health issues as well, then money issues as well. I'm almost broke, but I still managed to get some books.

  1. I hate reading slumps and they can be so difficult to get out of. I need to get more reading done this week but I've been too busy binge watching Game of Thrones. I'm starting series 5 tonight. If I catch up quickly, I can refocus on the reading! Hope this week is a better book week.

  2. Awesome haul this week, Grace :) Hopefully your new books will help with the reading slump ;) I hesitated about getting "A Perfect Gentleman" but ended up being 'good';)
Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading.

  3. That cover for The Wild Swans is absolutely GOOOOOOORGEOUS, and I am SO SO jelly that you received Wintersong--I was declined for that one, myself. Oh well--I can be a patient little reader penguin and pick it up when it's released to the wild. ;)

Fingers crossed you enjoy your recent bookish acquisitions! Here's my Stacking the Shelves, if you're interested in checking it out. No pressure or worries at all if you're not, though. Happy book-ing to you in the near future, and have a fantabulous weekend! <3

  8. oh what a great loot you have here!!! Its pretty horrible to be broke!! Wouldn't it be fabulous if we never had to worry about money?? I hope things get better for you!! But all of these books look so great. I really like Merry Farmer. Your coloring book pages look fabulous. I especially love the Christmas Wreath, so pretty. I hope you enjoy Candace Camp's book.

  11. Ha-no books purchased for me this week. I am on a budget. I know all about broke. Try buying enough food to host 18-20 people for Thanksgiving...and having to super clean the whole house to prepare!
Hope you find your way out of the slump with one of your new reads!

  13. Looks like a good haul! I'm in a bit of a reading slump too -- I know it doesn't look it, with how many books I've read, but honestly, I'm usually faster... Still, we'll get back to it soon, I'm sure!

  16. I don't think you are the only one in a reading slump. The blogosphere is so dead right now and everyone is not reading. I too am reading Gemina, and when I read it, I love it but for some reason, I am having a hard time sticking with it.

  17. I hope things get better for you, you sound stressed!

I'm in some sort of a slump too, I've been lost in podcasts and that's all I want to indulge in. I've been reading the same book for three weeks now.
